I studied photography at the School of Applied Arts in Košice, Slovakia. I photograph spaces and people, documentary series (Balkan Wedding, 2022; At Work, 2023 – ongoing). My work also explores the “negative” use of media intended to record events—photography that ultimately captures nothing (Set of Sunsets, 2007 - ongoing).

 

I create videos, including music videos and films, and have worked on several international advertising and commercial projects, receiving over 100 awards. Beyond audiovisual media, my practice conceptually focuses on key areas: the human being and their inner experience; the search for the meaning of life and balancing on the boundary between life and death (La Dolce Morte, 2025); the individual as a victim of violence in relationships, with no hope for help from society (Neighborhood Witnesses, 2021); and the individual as a victim of systems, corruption, and the mafia (Immortal Truth, 2020).

 

My work often involves discovering new meanings and recontextualizing existing objects, states, and phenomena, exploring their significance and sense (Random Gallery, 2020 - ongoing).
